JavaScript ???

Hi everyone not a money saving question more advice please as im completely lost :sBasically im trying to watch a video on youtube and im getting a message: 'Hello, you seem to have JavaScript turned off. Please enable it to see search results properly.'Dont exactly know how to turn it on so ive been using widows help (vista) and they refered to downloading the up to dat java, so went to java.com and when trying to download i get :'Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded'Again not sure what to do ive had a look in security settings and cant see anything that would stop any downloads.Any help would be appericated :)Many Thanks!

    How you resolve this depends on which browser you are using.

    If you are using IE, try adding the java.com website to your "trusted sites" list. You should then be permitted to download executable files from the site.

    Err, the OP was talking about JavaScript!

    Conveniently, Microsoft tells how to enable 'scripting' in each browser.

    Doh... I was looking to solve a problem (downloading), without noticing that solving it would not fix the original problem...

    java and javascript are not the same thing
