Changing radiators and filling central heating system

Hello,
I have a combi boiler and whilst the weather is warm wish to change my single rads to double rads. I have done this before but had a back boiler at the time and wonder if it is just as easy to drain and fill the system using a combi boiler?
All advice greatly received!

With a combi boiler you just need to drain down the system and fit the rads. Then refill using the filling loop. Actual refilling instructions will be as per your boiler.
HTHSome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0 -
Yup as Kiran says, just drain the system then change the radiators. then refil using the loop to the required pressure (see manual) dont forget to add a inhibitor such as Sentinel to the system when you refill.0

Just done the job myself - installing a new radiator in the lounge - new one is a bit smaller and off tothe right a bit of the old one. After having problems with getting the boiler going again after refilling, the other advice is to - make sure you turn the boiler power off, and also to refill & remove air all before switching the boiler back on. Oh, and it appears that you can't use the DHW until the CH system is up to pressure.0
