My bridesmaids are in purple as well, but are having black shoes. Most people have black already, and I feel bad as most of the maids have bought their own dresses as it is.. I am buying them all purple shawls when payday comes around.. We're getting married in November and all dresses are strapless!

My BMs wore red and I tried matching things but just couldn't - I had some bags that were the wrong red and it looked awful. So in the end we just went with silver accessories. :)

There are so many shades of both colours that it can be a nightmare, i'm finding it hard enough to make sure the decorations don't clash, without giving myself a headache with accessories too.:D

    thanks all

these were the kind i was looking at

they will prob have silver jewlerry, so silver shoes would go well too

i ordered those shoes as i wanted purple shoes under my wedding dress but they're more a plum shade than the cadbury's purple shade in the picture best sticking to silver probably that's what my bridesmaid is doing as she has silver shoes from another wedding she was bridesmaid at.

Can't believe the same shoes in ivory are £19.99 but those are £31.99!

i bought of this seller the reason why its £31.99 is cause it's for the shoes and a matching handbag, you just get the shoes for £19.99

the ivory ones are very nice though, just the right height and the right amount of bling lol

I like them matched, but it's incredibly difficult to get right. Back when I worked in a bridal shop, people would often request shoes to be dyed the correct colour, but it very often comes out just that little bit different and costs more too. So we'd always heavily recommend that they wear a contrasting colour, often matching the bride's gown, e.g. ivory.

I'm planning on wearing purple myself...havent even thought about shoes yet! I do have a pair of purple sparkly ones that reflect the light in somany ways the exact shade becomes irrelevant...sadly they're stilletos that are far too high be be doing bride stuff like standing and walking in for more than a few minutes lol
