House sale - internal doors wanting to take some to the next house

Hi,
as per title, wanting to take 3 doors from our house sale to the next home, they are substantial items.
Have had a look at the fixtures and fittings definition and there is no agreed one really.
is it ok to take the 3 doors?
The purchaser is going to gut and develop the house so I intend to mention it on the fixtures and fittings questionnaire for clarity.

I should imagine it's a waste of time.
Have a joiner weigh up whether they can be used in the new house.
Weigh up cost of rehanging them (About 25 quid a door if you have a joiner do it) and whether they will need cutting beyond their limits.
How much are similar doors new?0 -
I think it'd cost more than £25 to hang a door. I had some new doors hung, cost more like £100 for two (that was to hang a new door and fit a handle with lock). It took him hours... on and off it was, on and off, on and off, while he tried to get it perfect.0

approx £250 each, so not cheap items
I can hang the door myself0 -
What's so special about these doors??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

We bought some reclaimed 1930s doors to match the rest of the house when we built our extension, so I can appreciate that a good period door has got a certain value. But I think you should work out an estimated value for the doors and be prepared to drop the price by that amount if necessary, and personally I would make sure that the buyer is aware before you get as far as the fixtures & fitting list, because doors are something that you would automatically have expected to be included in the price agreed for the house. Even if he guts the house, he might have been expecting to re-use or sell the doors. In fact, the more I think about it, if they are good quality doors I'm sure the buyer would prefer to keep them rather than try to source new doors to fit the existing openings.0

Doors are not normally even on the F and F listing as these are normally in all cases left.
Although they are expensive doors, I would be suprised if the buyer would be happy for these to go, if you really wanted them it would have been better to have taken them off prior to putting the house on the market.
You can but ask, but its prob not worth losing a buyer about, if you take them off are you going to replace them with another door?
Taking doors is akin to taking a fitted kitchen!Pawpurrs x0 -
As the vendor you can take whatever you like from the property provided that
(a) you have notified your potential buyer about what you want to do
and
(b) they are still happy to go ahead with the purchase at the price you have agreed.
You'll maybe have to decide whether you'd be happy to risk your sale for the continued ownership of 3 doors. Yes, the potential purchaser may be about to gut the property , but s/he may have lined up a reclamation buyer for anything s/he intends to rag out of the property.0
