Best way to send a cricket bat?

What's the best way to send a cricket bat and how should I package it etc? Thanks

    Lots of bubble wrap and in a box, won't be cheap mind you.

    I bought one a while ago and it was bubble wrapped and in brown paper. Luckily my postman is nice as the packaging had split but he was very very gentle with it, lol.

    If you can find a big enough one how about a cardboard mailing tube ? You may be able to find a supplier on ebay who sells large sizes, then just bubblewrap or maybe even poly chips to hold it still and stop it rattling.
