Mon 26th July - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
:D
Morning campers!
Wow not been organised enough to start the thread in the morning for a long time! But today I aim to become more organised....
So today I have/will:-
- Check banking
- Pay some bills
- Brought lunch/snacks in from home
- Dinner from stores, freezer dive me thinks!
- Hoof out car at lunch time I think
- Perhaps wash car at lunch instead of taking to polish boys at Mr T's
- Do some surveys
Not a lot to do today as I did sooooooooo much yesterday!

Morning All  I'm back from accompanying Popeye to some dull conference
It was warm and sunny and I used the hotel gym. We even managed to sneak me into the Gala dinner :rotfl: it was dull beyond compare but free food

So today I have/will:- 15 mins on the cross trainer - no gym membership :money:
- will also do some floor exercises from an old mag - should give me good abs......
- make a menu using freezer and cupboard contents as far as possible, then shop with list and stick to it

- ask Barclaycard why I can't BT when a BT was the only reason I applied for a card
- contact RAC about car insurance - we've paid, but they cancelled it!- though maybe we can get our money back and SORN the car?
- do the couple of surveys in my inbox
have a great day everybody. :A
