Trying to help out and old widdow who has a caravan on their drive from her late hubby. It's beond putting right so needs to be scrapped.

Does anyone know of any places on the Wirral that scrap caravans? I suggested pushing it into the Mersey estuary...

Only one I can think of is Green Lane - if you give them a ring they may be able to point you in the right direction if they cant take it xxx

    Freecycle ??

Even though it may seem bad to you, someone may wish to have it and do it up :)

There are a fair few in Birkenhead. I'm sure they'd pick it up for you too.

Yeah Freecycle or even a "free to good home" ad on Gumtree. I got rid of my old broken washing machine this way! :p:D

i would also suggest freecycle - it may be beyond repair as a caravan but perhaps someone could use the chassis section as the basis for a trailer.

The interior might be of use for someone repairing or converting a van.

A guy at work put one on ebay that was left on his garage when he bought a repossession house and got a couple of hundred for it. it was in a state but the parts inside were usable.

I have a tow bar on my car but I don't want to tow it as the A frame at the front is just knackered and rotted thru and would probably snap. So it needs to be winched onto a truck/trailer.

Haven't got a clue what the inside is like as we can't find the key for it lol.

Wonder if we could smash it up on the drive and take it to the tip?!
