Can anyone tell me how long the battery will last on Panasonic Lumix TZ9

I`m just wondering if I should buy a spare. We are off to Orlando in a couple of weeks. If its charged every night do you think it will last for a day? thanks

Yes it should do, depending on usage, however, the USA is on 110v mains and we are on 240v, so charging may take longer.;)

I have the TZ4, the battery lasts all day, I take loads of photos, and charge it over night.

If you do decide to buy a spare, you should consider buying a genuine panasonic battery, as I understand that panasonic now chip their batteries so that the cheaper generic ones no longer work in the newer models (I should say that this is what I have been told, so am happy to be corrected)

Non - Panasonic branded batteries are now available that do work, there was a thread on here relating to this issue in the week.;)

Obviously at far less cost.
