Funding Help

Hi guys,
I studied in Glasgow for two years a few years ago, left my course and I am now at the end of my Second year at the University of Chester.
I applied for funding etc and was told that they would fund two years of my new course as they will fund the length of the new course +1 year minus the years of funding that I have already received.
SAAS have given me a loan for the 2nd year and the upcoming 3rd year but I need to pay off my tuition fees for 1st year. The Uni won't let me register until I find a way of paying this off and I can't afford to do so.
Do you think it would be possible for SAAS to give me a loan for the 1st year tuition fees? Or have you any ideas of how I can fund this? (short of getting a job which I have been out every day looking for and can't find)
Thanks!

maybe a Career Development Loan? It isn't ideal but it might be an option. Depends on how good your credit is though. Martin put some info up about this on the main page so it's worth having a look through and seeing if it would appeal.Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0

I'm confused. Are you saying that Chester have allowed you to study there for two years without your having paid your first year fees?0

SAAS will not pay you the money. You have used up your entitlement. They are pretty strict on this kind of thing in my experience. Some people use the maintenance loan part to pay their fees and work to afford to live. Or they take some time out in order to be able to afford it.0
