Feline Fayre/HiLife cat food question

After reading up, these seem to be quite good, and are pretty cheap.

My question is, are they suitable for kittens? My kittens currently have Tesco kitten food and Iams biscuits (do intend to use something better soon)

I am hoping it is, so I can move them onto a better diet witin the next couple of weeks, I have to make a seperate trip to Tesco just to get food!

Thanks in advance

    Hey

    Thanks for your reply :)

Have looked in Asda and Wilkinsons, neither do the kitten version, our little pet shop dont either, dont recall seeing it in Tesco and dont have a Morrisons near me.

All I can find is the adult one which is why I asked. may have to source it online then somewhere.

    tbh - I would feed 1/2:`cat' wet & `kitten' dried & that's your problems sorted - cheaper too.

My kittens will only be on kitten biscuits whilst they are weaning so they don't choke on the biscuits. Once they're fully weaned and are a bit older I'm switching them over to adult biscuits. There's almost no difference in nutrition and a big difference in cost!

I too feed FF and HiLife but be careful how much of FF you feed as it is quite high in sugar.

My kittens have kitten biscuits, and will do so until a year old, was wondering if I could give them the HL/FF pouches as I cant find the kitten ones, and need something half decent that I can get near me without having to do a 35 minute bus ride, and this seems to fit the bill.

If they were a bit older, I wouldnt have really asked but they are still very young.

My kitten loves the HiLife kitten food, got it in Morrisons. He gets a pouch per day split over 3 meals and also some dry food from P@H

You are absolutely find to give them the FF/HL adult pouches :) Kitten food is mostly a con, designed to get you to pay more money.

If thast the case then, I will give it to them, had to be heaps better then the Tesco pouches they currently have, and Asda have both on offer.
