Nissan 300zx mpg? parts?

How many metres per gallon around town is probably a better question!0

Well, for starters it won't be 3960CC, they were all (by and large) 3.0 V6's, either turbo or non turbo.
You'll be seeing about 25Mpg from either, driven lightly, with the turbo able to drop to mid teens around town or driven hard. Plenty of smiles per gallon though!
Parts are surprisingly good, Nissan hold many parts in stock at acceptable prices and the owners club/ebay can help you source others. THey are also realtively reliable for an old performance car.
If you can't stomach the thought of the Mpg and insurance costs, then these cars in good condition are getting rarer, and it should get a good price on the owners club or well advertised on autotrader, ebay or car and classic.0 -
I assume it is one of these
and not one of these.0 -
The best place to get info on cars like this is the owners clubs. With a 3l v6/ 3l v6 twin turbo its not going to give you good mpg, especially being an automatic.Lots of rear wheel drive fun though.I'd imagine 20-25mpg around town without booting it.Single figure mpg if you thrash it.
As its an import it might prove a bit tricky to insure so try and keep it standard to give you more options(its very easy to go a bit mad with cars like this as the power is addictive and you are never satisfied).Sky insurance are good for jap imports.0 -
Thanks folks. i found out this is the z32 new shape. Non turbo which is good. i am past the stage of drivig fast. not worth it. got insurance £230 per year classic 3000miles not bad! going for mot tomorrow so fingers crossed!0
