We got back from holiday on Thursday past and on Friday we had spuds, carrots, peas and beans from the garden along with some beautiful fresh fish.
Also dug up a good supply of beetroot, onions and a garlic.

We had a drink in the garden with the chimenea lit, we picked a few young beetroots and wrapped them in foil. After 20 minutes in teh hot coals they were ready. I have never tasted beetroot so good, soft and very sweet.0
