Charged twice for one store card

Hello,

I'm new here and I'd welcome any help or advice :) I recently opened a Dorothy Perkins account, but I've been given two account numbers. (The one on the card doesn't correspond with the one on my statement, although they were the same with my old DP account.)

Both accounts show the same outstanding balance, and I don't want to be hounded for a duplicate payment. I've phoned Santander's call centre numerous times and they're useless. Any advice greatfully received.
