Lexmark Z645 Printer

Hi,

I've got a Lexmark Z645 Printer which I used to use with my laptop with no problems at all. I've now got a PC with Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit), and have managed to install the printer driver for it from the Lexmark website.

The printer is printing, but when the page comes out, there's no ink on it. It's saying that the cartridges are 75% full...

Does anyone have any ideas to what the problem could be, as I'm a bit reluctant to buy new cartridges (as it's saying they aren't empty) or a new printer

Unfortunately you have a Lexmark, Nuff said, dump it and save your money on inks. Buy a black and white laser printer instead

It did, but I'm unable to test it now as the laptop is broken (it won't charge), so I'm trying to get it to work on the desktop...

I would suggest you look carefully at the price of replacing the printer as compared with the cost of replacing the ink. Usually close, except you know where to buy cheap ink. Can anyone suggest?
