If anyone turns up at any hospital in need of medical care they are not allowed to turn them away.. and I will rely on that.

I see you have a plan forming already :D

As to the CE of your local one - you could try mike.wright@hey.nhs.uk - he's interim until October when the newbie stars....

If that doesn't work, try michael.wright@hey.nhs.uk...

Or phone up the switchboard and ask for his email address - or even better, to be put through to him...

  • Big (((((((((((Hug's))))))))))))) Pigpen don't know what else to say hun it is disgraceful the way you are being treated, the minute I started bleeding with DS they had me in and kept me in, it is awful how it varies from town to town as it really shouldn't.

    I'm back sorry

Thanks to Pigpen for the lists and Soappie for standing in for Toots.

Piggers If it were me I'd be down the hospital and flatly refusing to move till they did something. After all can you see the security trying to throw you out in your condition I think not. I wish I was nearer I'd mind your kids for you. I think turning up at another hospital is the way to go they sound really horrid at that hospital I wouldn't want to give birth there. I know you hate hugs so I'll just throw my virtual arms round your sides and give your back a wee rub :-)

Soappie could you pass my love on to Toots when you speak to her. Praying she is back with us soon.

    Love and hugs for Lady-L

Off to find a list my house looks like steptoes back yard again!

Piggers - if your hospital won't do anything go to a GP or another fluffing hospital! ((Hugs)) I know you don't like the place but think we all know when we get to the 'enough is enough' stage. Your hospital have a duty of care and should not turn you away if you need to be cared for! Contact PALS immediately and let them know what is happening too. As for kiddiwinks, contact your local carer's support about possible emergency care, you have children with special needs therefore disabilities team at the very least have a duty of care to your children if you are unable to look after them. I am sure if I asked DPs Mam she'd said go back and insist to be treated (semi retired labour ward sister) or go somewhere else but still complain.

I'll be in again tomorrow. Boys are out 11-5 with support worker at a swimming place so I'll no doubt be in 'anxious' mode again, but sure they will have a fab time. So anyway I need to make the most of tomorrow getting what I can done, I've ordered a food delivery between 2-4 to get the heavy & basics stuff in so will just have the dog round my ankles while I get that put away.

Hope you're all ok, hugs for you all and will be logging in for duty at some point tomorrow :)

Oh PS new diet going ok, lost 3lb this week yeeeeees!!!

I don't have friends.. I'm far too sad and socially !!!!!!.. My mother would rather die.. chew off her own limbs and put herself in the blender!.. none of my sisters are able to.. 2 work, 1 lives away and the other has her own short thing to deal with... that is why I was so pleased when KH asked if he could have them when I needed him to.. and then when I asked him said no he had other plans..

A&E won't see pregnant women unless they suspect broken bones.. they put you on a trolley.. and shunt you across the car park to the maternity unit.

Not exactly true that now is it, I have texted you and offered help, you need to say what you need...I haven't heard back from you....:(

I understand your upset and in pain but you need to take hold of some of the hands that are extended towards you you nugget.:kisses3:

Hope Toots is ok, whatever happened earlier sounded ominous, if anyone's in touch, please send her my love. xxx

It is the one here.. I want to go to leeds.. and was told they had sent a referral.. then on thursday they tol dme 2 appoinments had been sent out.. then they told me no referral had been made at all.. so much for patient choice!

I did say I would just turn up where I wanted and there would be no option but to deal with it.

and if one more idiot says I have said I want a home birth I will hit them.. I have said no such thing at any point.. can you imagine what it would be like with cats and childrens having a peek!!

Get thee in a car to Leeds (or York!)- and walk in saying you're not well and list your symptoms!

    And I'm not joking!
