    Anyone up for HHC 7.45 - 8.15?

I haven't done too badly today, but had to stop when men came to fit my new gas fire!

I'm just back from the lottie so will join you...

Mum on a mission, Thanks for joining me!

I hope you did as well as I did - I'm all in a lather now!

I got the dry washing off the line, folded the line away, put some things on hangers.
Then, scraped the plates etc and loaded the DW and set it going, and wiped down all the kitchen surfaces.
Then I emptied the organic veg box that was delivered this morning while I was out, and put the veg away, first wiping out the salad drawer and re-lining it with a clean tea towel.

That was all actually, but it feels like a lot more!

It really helps to work with someone else!

Triker that cake looks amazing!! **tummy rumbles**

Hi all, got my head down here... Going to see the quack tomorrow, rotten cold/cough has now morphed into yukky sore throat... That'll teach me for not putting myself in bed last week, and going to work mixing with germy members of the public! :p

    Hope everyone's well and chipper.

I've spent most of today in the local studies library in Sheffield looking up some family. Had a wander round the city centre after - I haven't been for years & am well impressed, it's lovely, especially round the Peace Gardens. Might tootle off up there again for a mooch round before I go back to work.

    love to all...

All I have to say, at this moment in time, is that however carefully you lead a horse to water, the ornery mare may still stubbornly refuse to drink...

    ~sigh~

I'm well. Have been flying this evening. DD's birthday today and she's gone out for dinner with friends so I'm having steak and home made wedges with salad and a glass of two of champagne for my dinner :)

BB has the squits so she's on plain boiled rice and scrambled egg for dinner. She doesn't know it yet, poor lamb
