new worktops

can anybody recomend anywhere to get cheap good quality worktops.

I would get the real solid wood ones from ikea - maybe not as cheap as the laminate type stuff, but they dont LOOK cheap, and they will not date. And compared to wood worktops from elsewhere they ARE cheap.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

what are these real wood worktops like for cleaning and maintenance etc. do like the look of them though.0

You have to apply an oil quite regularly for th first month or so, then every so often reapply the oil. Its no bother though, and they are easy to clean. I just wipe mine with a baby wipe
