Lloyds - Confusing!!

Hey all!
I've been contesting bank charges with Lloyds since 2007, when I was in financial hardship. The charges occurred from being 11p over my limit, struggling with a budget on benefits as a new mum, then spiralling because the financial help I received (said benefits) did not cover bank fees on top of essentail bills and the cost of making a home from scratch. The charges have since been unescapable (though I have been banking elsewhere since the end of 07) and to this day I still cannot afford to pay them off.
I have a complaint in with the FOS. I am putting together more ammo against Lloyds. I am trying to ascertain the meaning of something they wrote to me in March. The sentence is they've "not found any evidence that shows (my) situation has had a negative impact on the way (my) account has been handled" (I have replaced 'your' with 'my' in case anyone wonders!)
Can anyone please shed some light on what they mean? I might be being dense here, I apologise if I am! Does it mean that they don't think they did anything wrong? Or that by being in financial hardhsip (unable to pay essential bills, buy food etc) it never affected my account (which I feel it did)? Or does it mean something else?
Many thanks!

I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

Also, a default was issued at the time I was disputing the amount I owed Lloyds. This I know to be against OFT/banking code rules. Thing is, the default notice was issued March 2008. It was recorded with the CRAs in Feb 2010! Is this actually classed as being illegal? I know they shouldn't do it but need to ensure I use all the correct wording!I've got nothing else but I've got my family.

It certainly does get very confusing if you create more than one thread to deal with essentrially the same issue.
Here are your previous thread on your attempts to reclaim bank charges from Lloyds, which includes a response:

Perhaps you could ask a Board Guide to merge them to help avoid further confusion?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Hi Premier,
Sorry, thought as these were seperate questions it'd be best to ask them on a new thread. Will post them on another and delete the unnecesary threads!I've got nothing else but I've got my family.
