My Mum uses 18185 as it was recommended on this site. She received her 18185 bill dated 16th June on the 16th June and 18185 requested payment of £10.98 on the 16th June from her credit card which her credit card paid. However on 16th July she received an email stating "Dear 18185 customer, We are sorry to inform your bank has declined payment." and they wanted the outstanding amount of £14.67. I therefore paid the £14.67 from my bank account on Friday 16th July. Mum was not able to use her 18185 from Thursday 15th July to Wednesday 21st July. On Wednesday 21st July she received an email stating "Dear 18185 customer, We are pleased to inform we have received your payment of £ 14.67 ." However Mum received her credit card statement this week and it clearly states that Mums' credit card had paid the bill on 16th June and therefore she shouldn't have had to make payment of £14.67. She hasn't received her July bill yet. She can not contact 18185, has anyone got any contact details for them or know how to get this sorted?

I'm afraid 18185 are notoriously difficult to get hold of.

GeoffTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
