hi all,
i am a complete thickie and have no idea on this so all help or advise will be very much appreciated!!
we are looking to buy a new camcorder for our upcoming holiday in a few weeks to replace our old one. we have chosen the camera sony handycam cx115e, this is HD as thats what we wanted to upgrade to now having hd at home. however the problem is this we are unsure of the size of memory card/s we should buy as we have no clue what time we will get from what size. we will be looking to be recording approx 6-7 hours of video in HD shooting over our holiday so can anyone give advice on the sizes we may need. we are going to the USA so can probably buy another out there cheaper thanks in advance

check if camera takes SD old or both SD and SDHC new ,SD IS NOT BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE.
also prices [incl postage] at 7dayshop.com , will be hard to beat ,long established ,first class service.0 -
SD is not backwards compatible??
I think zee means if the camera is SD only it might not read SDHC cards.
But the camera is SDHC so no issues there, any SD card will work, 4gb and above are SDHC anyway.
