Problems with Ipod Shuffle

Hi all, I download my podcasts every week using ITunes. It usually automatically shows the new podcasts for radio and I just click and drag it on to my Shuffle however, for some strange reason, my Ipod Shuffle isn't showing up on the left hand side so I can't save the new stuff to it. Any idea what I can do? Thanks.

Is your computer finding the iPod at all?

If not, try resetting computer and try again. If that doesn't work try a different USB port.
