Thought of you today Taxi as I met up with friends. P is on week three of chemo (oesophageal cancer), H has completed all his treatment, having his op two weeks ago (bowel cancer). Both said how tired they are - a tiredness beyond any previous experience.

I wrote before of my lovely friend who was diagnosed with BC a week or so after you. Her cancer has spread to the nodes. Her treatment has also started. She has gone straight for radiotherapy and declined chemotherapy. She is very tired. She is being pragmatic, she is also trying to maintain a sense of humour... but sometimes she's just trying to remember who she is outside the illness.

I'm glad you have close family to give your help, support, love. My friend from schooldays with BC is not as fortunate in that respect.

    Go gently.

Gosh you've loads around you with this dreadful illness..you must be very tired dealing with the emotions of it all...please look after yourself.

So nice to hear from you Taxi, glad you're feeling better :)

:T for quitting the fags - my hubby went cold turkey 6 years ago. He still misses them :o but says he's glad he's given up and feels sick if he's near them now.

What a nice surprise to see your granddaughter - that will aid your recovery I'm sure. Have a good weekend - onwards and upwards xx
