Evening all..sorry not been about much but there aren't enough hours in the day to get jobs done in the house and keep up on here.
Picked my new car up on friday lunch time along with a complimentary bottle of wine and box of Thorntons chocolates...yum...I have been bad on the diet front friday and saturday and no idea why but have jumped back on the wagon today.

Have done quite a bit in the house washing and cleaning wise and am starting to get into a routine for keeping on top of it.I'm slowly decluttering stuff too but am getting there bt by bit. Can't do too much as end up exhausted or in agony with my back.

I managed to get in and out of the bath unaided the other day so that was a major achievement.

I managed to walk to the office and back this morning to take the subs cheque in....so am proud of that.

Received the cheque back from the insurance yesterday along with DHs badge and taxi licence for the car.

So tomorrow I need to bank cheque, bank takings, post tax disc back for refund and change our taxi plates at council ..all will probably involve long queues so will wear me out but need doing.

    Hi taxi
just catching up, congrats on the weight loss.

But confused... maybe I missed something, why do you have to change the taxi plates?

Hi Taxi! Isn't the plates the annual license thing? No idea really, its something I see sometimes, thats all.

Sorry its still painful for you with your back- thats very debilitating. But as to the decluttering, I find that I can plan all I like, but I actually *do* what feels right at the time. This morning, for instance, while the kettle's brewing, I'm going to check out my professional accreditation papers - I had to hunt out the date of my first accreditation this morning, since I just joined the local committee for my counselling organisation, and there's a *lot* of paperwork. That makes a difference, but its not anything I'd planned. Let it evolve, and you're right, every scrap helps. Off to the charity shop in a while - there's suddenly a lot of bulky stuff I'd decluttered, and I don't have anywhere to put it!

    Hope your day goes well.

    Morning all..hope everyone is well.
Sorry not been about much but have been a little down for some reason and a bit busy.Think the sheer amount of hospital appointments coming up in the next few weeks and the amount of paperwork/admin I need to get through and trying to get housework and decluttering done is overwhelming me a bit.
I have JJ here at the moment for a couple of days and haven't even planned what we're going to do yet...he's had breakfast and is dressed so that's a start.Am just chilling with a brew whilst he's watching rubbish on the tv then I'll get the pots washed and the washing on before deciding where to go.

Karma you are right the plates are the annual license here.they have the date of the license on them hence needing changing each year...

Stayed in this morning and then took JJ to town,We went on the bus as it's hard to find parking at this time of year and works out cheaper on the bus..on the back of the ticket was a free child ticket with each full paying adult for the circus...so JJ and I popped in and got tickets for tomorrows 1pm performance and got great seats in the 3rd row for a bargainous price of £9 so very MSE and we'll pop into B&M near the tower for sweets and drinks..so it will be a cheap day.

Have a lovely day out at the circus - its amazing how often there are offers on the back of tickets etc. I used to get lots of offers on the parking meter ones.

Thats brilliant, Taxi - as well as being a treat for JJ, you can let your inner child out to play :)
