Ahh, I am so glad I bought a new build.....nothing more than a coat of paint needed at mine!
Bet it will look fab once you replace the kitchen and bathroom though!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Will look good when done eventually but will take a lot of money.
Went to WWs this morning and have lost another 2.5lbs so happy with that.
Car still at valeter need to phone them about 3pm to see where they are up to.
Received a form to fill in again for my medical for sick benefit and looking at the questions doubt that I'll get it again.
Nothing else to report ...snowed under with paperwork at the moment so need to make headway on that.0 -

Congts on the weight loss, ur going amazingly, just thinking about the sick form theres no way on this earth you can go back to work yet, I would do is phone CAB, or your bc nurse, or the local concil, (useless with departments), but I had my DLA renewal filled in for me, the way I looked at it, was what would take me 100 words they can do in 10. Def go down that route.
Hope everything goes ok with the car. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks Mum2one x doesn't have to be in until 25th August so will do the usual and leave it for a few weeks.

He has his medical this afternoon for his badge.

That's really good on the weight loss! :T:T:T Especially when you've lost so much already.
I'm in the growing old disgracefully club, too. Good for you getting the car you want. :j:jBut how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.Am just waiting for them to get a registration number for it so that I can sort the insurance out plus also need to know for definite the date I'll be picking it up so that the insurance can finish on one and start on the other as my insurance is paid up until december on the Zafira. Will also send the tax disc back for refund.
Pouring down here and no plans for today yet..I do have quite a lot of housework to do but can't do that until later as DH is in bed and don't want to wake him with the hoover.Got another week to go on the antibiotics and then an appointment with the Lymphodema clinic to decide whether they'd like me on a maintainance course of antibiotics while they treat the odema....0 -
Morning Tricia...growing old disgracefully is the way to go for sure...much more fun.
Unfortunately,I've loads of weight to lose and it'll take me a while but I just look at it a bit at a time and that keeps me going...ie another 3lbs will be 3 1/2 stone off and 4lbs will be 50lb etc....somehow it doesn't seem so bad that way.
Have a good day xxx0 -
Managed to get a few jobs done today...well yesterday now looking at the time now..ooops
Went to the bank, dropped a bin bag of stuff at charity shop, went to little Tesco to pick a couple of bits up and then on to home bargains where I picked up a few bits and then onto DDs to take JJ a pressie for his excellent school report...came home had dinner with DD and then cleared and mopped all upstairs floors..washed pots and did some washing..so quite a bit for me.
When I finished that lot popped to DS3 house and spent a couple of hours catching up with him and then back home to watch tv for a bit and then on here.
DD2 came home from work at 10.30pm so had a natter with her before she went out to meet her mates.
time for bed now I think.0
