Thanks everyone am fine but tired.

Sorted DSs rent this morning and then cooked a breakfast for myself and DH.Then we went out for the day up and around the lakes and aong the kirksone pass and back home..so am tired now.

Having a quick scoot around the boards then to bed.
  • Bet the day out felt brilliant though didn't it - and the tiredness you're feeling now will be the effect of the fresh air and just being *out* somewhere different to, so hopefully you'll sleep well tonight. Hope so anyway, and glad you had a lovely day! xx

YEP...I'm loving this getting out lark..it's really cheering me up.
Tomorrows trip out I think will be taking DS shopping.
I'd hardly been out of the door for months so am glad to be getting a bit of normality back.

It is indeed a beautiful place and there are beautiful lakes there and steam boats along the lakes and quaint shops in a couple of places along the way.A real paradise for walkers..they even have a youth hostel along there as well as beautiful hotels, camp sites etc.
We went up to Carnforth.Arnside,Silverdale,Windermere up to the Kirkstone pass ...through all the villages up to Penrith and then back home down the motorway...so I had plenty to keep me amused and only spent £1.60 on drinks from the shop.
