I am doing the new plan but don't know whether it's better yet as have only done it for 2 days.

the points in stuff is completely different from the old plan...think what they are aiming for is to eat more protein and less carbs plus more fruit and veg.

Will know better by my weight loss over the weeks...I have always found due to being big that I have too many points to use.

Hmm sounds interesting, that might actually work for me. I'm fairly tall and only had a little to lose so found I had too many points before, although now I'm much heavier so I might get even more!

Sounds like some excellent healthy meals there Taxi - and so nice sounding too - which is always half the battle. I suspect you will find that just the fact that your level of activity will increase over the next few weeks as you begin to get your strength back will give you a great kick-start on the weightloss, that in turn will be a good motivator and of course as the weight comes off you will feel more comfortable and hence better able to be even more active. Well done!

Duke and Lucielle have the right idea..lol..if only.

EH...think I need to lose a fair bit 1st before becoming active as the pain in my back is horrendous...even standing for a few minutes is painful..can't believe I've let myself get in this state.

    Sounds like yummy food Taxi.

How many points are you on a day. I am on 29 and am sometimes I find it hard to eat them all, although chocy binge soon sorts that out :)

Cous Cous sounds lovely, whats the points value on it?

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

Am on 44 a day plus 49 weekly....

the cous cous was plain out of the packet I used 100g dry weight between 2 and looked it up online but didn't find exact points so pointed it at 6 points for the cous cous alone...the points are higher on the new programme.

Do you go to class and follow the new plan?

Have had a busyish day today....
Went to the pet shop for Tess's dog food £47.99 and worming tablets £18.95
Then into Asda where I spent another £72...by the time I got to the checkout my back was really aching so was glad that DD lifted the shopping out of the car and put it away when I got home.I was proud of myself though managing a big shop on my own.

Am still doing well on the diet....

    B....weetabix,milk and summer fruits

    L....WW B.L.T sandwich

    D....Pork chop,new pots,green beans,cauli,gravy

I still have loads of points left so will have something to eat later and some more fruit.

The taxi needs filling later so that will be about £70 and my car still has way over half a tank so should be a couple of weeks before I need to fill mine.
