Losing ten stone will be easy for someone who has lost all those ££££ of debt.

I like no. 8 'Be Happy'. The most important goal of all and something we seem to easily lose sight of.

Nipping out of lurkdom to say that your plans sound great and to wish you good luck for today. I have seven stone to lose so will be joining you when you start. Anyone who has the will power and commitment that you have shown over debt busting can apply it to losing weight.

Taxi knows about it but she had a bad reaction to a similar diet so it may not be for her but I have to say I could not lose it any other way it takes so much commitment to lose a large amount of weight and I could not face the long hard grind so the quick boot camp method has suited me but I do admire those who can do it the "normal" way

Glad you answered that DT as I was just about to.I wouldn't be able to do it so long hard slog for me then.
Anyone that wants to join me can do...the more the merrier.

1st rad today at 3pm so will take a diazepam an hour before so that I'm not in pain on the bed.I haven't been taking them as haven't been too bad....still goes into spasm but for not as long.
DH has just took the dog for a walk..I can't go as get too much pain after walking for 5 minsbut that will change as I start to lose weight ...hopefully.
just put another £13 in savings.

I'm sure you'll manage to loose the weight the "long" way just fine taxi. Take it gently though -its not the priority at the moment.

I had 10 stones to loose too. I've managed to loose a bit over 5 stones since May by eating healthily (mainly sorting out my portion sizes and cutting out crisps! ) and exercise (initially starting by upping my walking from a very, very unfit start then adding in other stuff like pilates and skating too). I use a wesite called myfitnesspal to keep track of what I eat as it makes me accountable to myself and less likely to go off the rails! If you want another loosing weight buddy I'll be trying to loose weigh too... probably for the whole of 2011! :cool:
