  • Been away for a few days so only just catching up with this. Sorry to hear you've been having muscle spasms, they're so nasty aren't they - some good ideas from others on the thread though, well worth following up / trying.

    Hope all went well today.

Glad to hear that you are starting to 'wake up' from the chemo, and hope that the docs had some help for the muscle spasms. x

Morning all...sorry didn't get back to you last night but it was a long day and I fell asleep.

Went to see oncologist and he gave me more diazepam and some amitriptyline tablets...don't like what I've read about those on the internet though.Little did I know they were going to do my rads planning whilst there...they did some of it and had to stop part way through so that I could take pain killers before they could carry on...but it's done now.
I start my rads on 9th dec and finish new years eve...so a good start to the new year.

I didn't get home from hospital until nearly 7pm..had something to eat and then fell asleep until 4am.Hence me not posting on here..lol

Have checked online banking and everything is ok there.Mortgage came out this morning so need to update my sig when it shows on their system.

Have a good day everyone xx

That is good that they are starting them soon and that you will be done for New year - ok, so not a great few weeks to come, but what a good start to 2011!

    Morning Taxi,

great news that you're another step further down the path towards both recovery. As hypno says; a short sharp burst of nastiness & then on to the new year. Your crew will be here to provide support, sympathy & encouragement every step.

Still only about 1mm of snow here. Last night some young lads came round offering to grit my steps & path for £3. I was so impressed at their enterprising spirit I happily paid up & remarked that I wished I'd thought of that idea :D

Best get ready for another round of madness & mayhem at work-job ...

Keep warm & will check back later

    xx

    Hi taxi

Good luck with the radiation - I know it won't be fun but good to know it will be over soon and you can concentrate on your healthy future.

Poor you having no snow! We have masses here, the schools are closed and I can't get to work - whoopee!
