Well I'm glad you're doing OK, but sorry to hear you're bored. Are there any small tasks or projects that you've been putting off dealing with that you could now turn your attentions to a little bit at a time? Otherwise, DVDs or books as Pickle says. I'm hazarding a guess that with the amount of time you're had to read or watch TV over the past little while though, there is a limited appeal to either of those!

Sorry to hear you're a bit frustrated Taxi. On the other hand, I guess that might mean you're getting better? :)

I'm sure there are things you could do that are outside the usual for you.... It's probably weird when we never have time to do things, then when the time comes - we can't remember what all those things were! Take Care xxx

Sorry to hear you are bored Taxi - it's hard keeping motivated - the adrenaline and the momento hits in at the beginning of something 'big' in life that needs dealing with and hidden energy arrives like magic to help deal with it... then I suspect its a bit of 'ok, so this is what it's all about....' and it all becomes 'normal'.

Hang on in there - boring can be a good thing as it means things are plodding along...........

It has been a gorgous weekend here - not too keen on the early dark evenings though. DH laughs when I say I don't like the dark nights and tells me nights are usually dark!!!!!!! We went to a local garden centre and it was full of Christmas stuff - although I love Christmas I couldn't get excited about it though as it feels way too early for me yet - but I am the one usually running around on Christmas Eve.

  • Hi taxi

Just popping in to see how you are. You are getting some well deserved words of encouragement and love. YOU ARE an inspiration and whilst I dont post v often you are in my thoughts frequently wondering how you are doing. If you are still bored, and you feel up to it why not write your memoirs of this time or keep a diary. You might write a book one day? Could that be your cup of tea? Anyway, take care. Keep positive!

Thanks everyone..guess you're right that it's down to frustration.Loads of stuff going on in my head but no energy to do anything.
I haven't been outside the door for nearly two weeks.I have no energy whatsoever. To top it off I have a runny nose and sneezes so may be coming down with a cold.

The weather is awful outside so i'll stay in again as don't want to catch a chill.

will send DD to do the banking when she gets up as she has a day off today.

have just put £100 in savings and this brings me to a couple of goals...

    over £22k in savings
    over 50% in savings

next step is in the £21ks owing which will be a few days off when DD gives me her board.

on another note my BC nurse has just phoned up to see how I am.I mentioned that I'd not heard from radiotherapy yet so she phoned them and apparently my radiation planning appointment is 24th november with rads planned to start 9th dec...so will get a letter about that.

Thats good news! You'll be able to start the new year recovering, not still undergoing, if you see what I mean - I know you won't be on top form immediately. But even low as you are, Taxi, you've managed to get to that 50% tipping point on the mortgage, thats really brilliant news, well done!

New Year New Start Taxi :)
Hope your energy levels increase soon. Meanwhile lie back, close your eyes and visualise lying on a warm tropical beach, hearing the waves gently lapping, and the warmth of the sun on your skin, a gentle breeze floats over you..........................................................................oh sorry Taxi just drifted off there ;)

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.
