    It is hard and does drive me mad especially over the car and waiting for people to do stuff for me...eg...banking still not done as neither DD or DH went to the bank before it shut and I'm really weak at the moment so can't go.

    cars aren't ever cheap...the part comes with a 12 month warranty ..lol...nearly fell off the chair when I found out how much it was but needs to be done ...at least on a taxi I can claim it back.

    Sorry to hear about the car. Don't beat yourself up about not keeping up with maintenance. Could you use a calendar to slot in reminders of when to think about far related things to help you and DH remember?

    Better head off to bed.

    parts just go when they go unfortunately..no rhyme nor reason but will remember to check essentials once a week.

    I can just imagine Z ripping out his alternator now, just so he can get the Vestal Virgins to bring it on a gold plate:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

    I am seriously off cars myself at the moment- never ending drain of money. Hope they get it sorted for you soon Taxi. x
