"My Pictures" Puzzle

When ive taken some pictures, i load them into the computer via a card reader, the logo comes up and asks what do you want to do, so I click "Copy to a folder on my computer" as normal, and they appear in "My Pictures" as normal, but I cant understand this.......you name the folders say "London Zoo" or whatever, and they used to appear with that name...........however for the last few months, they apppear with the date theyve been downloaded, NOT the name ive typed in. Yes if i hover the arrow over, it does show the name, but I much prefer the old system where you can see the title.. What am i doing wrong, or have windows just changed the way things work. if you right click you get the option to rename them, have a look here, might help.

Thanks, but before, I didnt need to Rename, the title was automatically shown, not the date i downloaded the pics.
