    Debt Free Job 1:

    Tackle: Catalogues £3000

    What Needs Done:
    1. Cancel all catalogues except the one. Keep the one that allows me to earn some money.
    2. Schedule realistic payments for each of the catalogues
    3. Submit a payment to each catalogue (Note to self: Even a small amount will help)
    4. Review balance on the accounts
This is the debt free work for this week.

    Work Completed on This Job:

I have binned the catalogues in order to take away the temptation as can't close the accounts until they have been paid.

I have scheduled realistic payments however unfortunately this has revealed that I will need to extend my debt free date. New debt free date is end of May 2011.

I have paid £10 off one catalogue and £30 off another

    New Balances:

    catalogue 1 £ [STRIKE]122.00[/STRIKE] £112
    catalogue 2 £ [STRIKE]2278[/STRIKE] £2248
    catalogue 3 £ 500
catalogue 4 £ 100 - This is the one that I am keeping

Hi, thought I should confess, I have been sneaking around early reading your diary. Good luck, you have a challenge there, but your on the right path. I will be back, if I find you with your nose in those catalogues there will be trouble missy :D
Sew it, knit it, glue it, reuse it , don't buy it

Do you have any free credit cards to pay the catalogues off with? Just wondering as I know the aprs are huge on them.

No unfortunately I don't have free credit cards. I applied for a couple but I was declined.

    Hi Wannabe,

That's an impressive list you have there, I got tired reading your 101 challenge. Good luck with it and well done for binning the catalogues! x reminded me to order some recycling bags from council, thanks ;)x
  • Good luck with your debt free journey wannabe01- am impressed with how focused you are! Definately good idea to get rid of the catalogues- they can be a BIG temptation
