Unable to signup to E.ON online

I've been trying to signup to E.ON online but my house number does not come up when I enter my postcode (only four houses on my street appear, one of them twice) and there's no option to enter the address manually. I'm on the relevant Royal Mail postcode database and have been for more than a year. I also know I'm on the database for British Gas (my current supplier), EDF (my previous supplier) and NPower (as I just had a quote from them).

I know I can sign up via the phone but won't be able to take advantage of any cashback then. Has anyone else run into this?

Hi Deleted User,

There could be a number of reasons for this. We get the information for the quotes from two separate sources, the gas supply database (National Grid) and the equivalent electricity supply database.

If either of these records have address abnormalities our records will also reflect this.

If you contact me on the address in my profile page with the address details, I can investigate this and find out what is causing the issue. If necessary I can quote you and make arrangements that cash back is still paid.
