I know that many of you here have had placements in the past but my question is how long did it take you to get to your placement?
I am looking at a few placements that take over an hour to get to and was wondering if would be too far away.
Just like your thoughts really. Thanks

Go for the most worthwhile placement - i've done close ones and ones that are up to an hour away (which did tire me out). 1/2 hour travelling isn't too bad - you might want to try your uni to get some money out of the access to learning fund for travel expenses.Thomas Jefferson: "When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on."

I travelled around 40 mins, my gf travelled around 1hr20mins.
I would look at the company reputation and the job role. These could be important factors in securing any future job after graduation. Just by having the right company or job experience you can sometimes guarantee at least an interview with any company you are interested in.0
