Hello
I have a quick question:
Do housing associations have access to CRB checks for people applying for housing? I don't have any convictions but was arrested for common assault 6 yrs ago but the case was dropped without going to court. I want to make sure before sending the form in. Thank you

Most HA's have a protocol for dealing with ex offenders and frequesntly have information sharing arrangements with the Police. But, as you weren't convicted, it won't be a problem.0

Thanks to both of you for the quick answers. Do you know what info is shared by housing associations when they process mutual exchanges. I don't have a problem but it would be handy to know. cheers0

Very little. Rent account, tenancy conduct, all internal to the HA if it's a mutual exchange. After all, if exchanging, you're already a tenant.0
