while trying to log into ebay today i had an error message come up saying" error trying to validatecertificate from ebay using ocsp. corrupted or unknown response error code -8073. this also comes up when i try to bid on something

Sounds like you should either look for updates on your browser, or change it to Firefox.0 -
its ok i found out what it was, seems that its the ocsp validation tool at the websites end not mine , i had to tick do not use ocsp to validate web pages in tools ,and everything was fine. i already use firefox.spanky xx

Never had that issue with ebay and firefox. Are you sure that it was ebay and not a hoax?
