As the titkle says, love my rhubarb, but can't have it anywhere near pup as don't want to poison him (he loves eating my plants!!).
If it can go in a container, it can go on wall out of way

Anyone tried it?

My mum grows hers in a container and it seemed to do ok this year - she even found a forcer the right size to fit inside the pot.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I've grown Rhubarb in tubs a few times and it works fine, just watch out for vine weevils they seem to love it as much as we do!

I sowed some rhubarb seed in a large tub a few months back and it is now bountiful. I did sow rather liberally but my goodness it is growing fabulously. Give it a go!

Asda are selling their big flexi tubs for £3 each - I'd get some but don't really need any :rotfl:- wish I did as I love them. They would be great for rhubarb and there's lots of different colours.

Oh, and Chimera - my labrador pup pinched my rhubarb crown out of its first pot, I planted the half that hadn't been chewed to bits and both plant and lab are fine over a year on. I think it's the leaves you need to be careful of.
