Honeysuckle - no flowers why?

A little advice please,

I have a honeysuckle its on a fence that faces west, it used to flower really nice until i had to prune it back, for the last couple of years it has had no flowers or even sign's of flowers on it. What can i do to encourage some new growth and flowers.

Well it is strange that it has not had any flowers for a FEW years. If you hard prune it will not flower or not terribly well the following year, but then its usually pretty much ok.

I am presuming that no pruning has taken place during the last 2 years? Some honeysuckles flower on the growth they made last year and some on this years growth so you have to be a wee bit careful of your pruning times depending on your variety!

If it has been more than 2 years since you pruned you could give it a feed with some growmore (its not organic) to give it a boost and see how it goes - do not prune and leave it to do its thing.
