Changing Broadband Provider?

Does anyone know of a site that i can check my phone line on?

Up until December last year I was with AOL Broadband i have spoken to them today and they have told me that my line was released in April 06 and there is nothing on my line to do with them. When speaking to Onetel they tell me that there is still an active connection on my line, then the 2nd person i spoke to said there wasnt and set up Ontel Broadband, the 3rd person i spoke to then said that their was something on my line

Can anyone help?

  • If you go to your chosen broadband provider, it usualy asks you to enter your number, it then checks if the line is free, If not it usuallysays ' you can get broadband, but you have another provider'

That should be a good guide.
