Ipod touch wireless connection

I confess I didn't even know what an I pod touch was never mind that you could use the wirless internet on it. I changed the wireless router password a few weeks ago because we had lost the password which meant my nephew couldn't get his laptop to get access to the internet via our router. Good people on here guided me through getting into the settings of the router and changing the password. We've all been able to access the wireless internet with the new password quite ok until last week when my nephew tells me the password won't work on the ipod touch. He's been typing in the new password to the ipod touch but it won't recognise it. Can someone guide me on how to get to the settings of an i pod touch to tell it the new password or whatever it is I must do to get an ipod touch to work with our router. Thanks so much.

It was all letters and no numbers and all in lower case. I will try it again myself tomorrow when I get access to the ipod touch which I have never seen or held!
