I have got a new laptop and with it came 3 years AVG internet security. The problem i have got that nearly every time i go on the laptop about 5 mins into working i get AVG telling me to reboot which is getting quite annoying it does not apper to have made any updates. I thought that when I closed down it would do the reboot then but it does not appear to do so.

I think it would be best to remove AVG - although you have 3 years of it, it's not very good at doing its job. I suggest installing a free alternative like avira and malwarebytes which will be better.

Download these two programmes onto your desktop first.
Then uninstall AVG from your control panel.
Run the AVG remover to remove bits left behind:

Then install avira and malwarebytes. Update definitions and run scans.0
