estate agent money saving tips

just found my tennants through an estate agent for our house can anyone recommend what are the ways to save money from these estate agent as in todays market rents are not fulfilling the mortgages.

I'm slightly confused. Are you saying the estate agent found your tennants for you. In that case they are acting as letting agents. If you want to pay them less, find your own tennants, then you won't have to pay fees. Most houses to let are advertised in the local paper.0

The only way is to try and barter a reduction in the % they take from you.
Or, as has been said, do it yourself. You could use one of the private sale/let websites like https://www.houseladder.co.uk to help your marketing. There's a potential minefield of legal stuff that you need to get covered before you try it though. There's lots of information and a special tenant referencing service available through https://www.landlordzone.co.ukEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
