But then you're going to be spending more as you're throwing away the food that you now don't fancy and then buying a takeaway!! It's just discipline hun!! How about giving yourself a couple of options? For example, I make a lots of meals in bulk and freeze them, so tonight I have the choice of either jacket spud with cheese and beans, or risotto, or chilli con carne!! Makes it a bit easier to stay on the wagon I feel!!earwig wrote:hi thankyou you all for for replys i guess it comes down to the same old problem i dont fancy what i have out for dinner because i dont fancy it i wont cook it because i wont cook it i have takeaway how do i get out of this pattern its costing me loads i have tried meal planing and i have a freezer full of food where i have meal planed and two pork chops what i have defrosted today but i dont fancy pork today but did yesterday when i got them out of the frezzerOfficial DFW Nerd no. 082! :cool:Debt @ 01/01/2014 £16,956 Debt now: £0.00 :j

I fall off every now and again and have to haul myself back on the wagon, dust myself down, and start all over. Whilst being grateful it wasn't a massive splurge.
Having a choice seems like a good idea, as purpleprincess pointed out or just have pork or whatever you took out of the freezer and eat it and get on with it!!! That's what I do if I find myself not fancying it... but that's why I plan a meal and that's what I have to do to reduce the debt. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it keeps me going...
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
Yes, today I almost bought some make-up, I was very strong, I managed to walk away, but it was tough. I used to buy loads and still have loads.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

The difference here is that pre-LBM you wouldn't have noticed a slip and now you do. Haul yourself back on but don't forget the odd treat! What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about? :eek:Official "Bring back Mark and Lard NOW! or else (please)" Member 160
