Connecting laptop to Bluetooth speaker

Hi

I have recently purchased an Intempo BTS01 bluetooth speaker.

I am trying to use it with my Dell Laptop (Vista).

I tried to connect using the passkey provided with speaker (0000) but it gives an error message, however I can connect using no passkey.

I can see the speaker is listed in my Bluetooth devices.

When I click on Bluetooth settings, it is listed under the Audio tab.

However, when I click on the Connect tab, it tries connecting and then always disconnects.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

I know the problem isn't the speaker as it connects fine to my mp3 player.

I had a similar problem trying to Bluetooth my Samsung Netbook to my Nokia phone. After loads of helpful advice eventually got it to pair OK.

Have a look at yesterday's Forum thread "Bluetoooth connection to Nokia PC" and see if any of that works for you.
