Balancing radiators

I have a new A+ gas boiler in my house, serving 12 radiators. The house is well insulated and I want to make sure I use the energy as economically as possible.
What's this about "balancing" radiators? It's something to do with the valves at the other end from the thermostatic valves I have on the rads....?
Is this important or will the TRVs do the job? If it is, how do I do it?
Cheers

TRVs mostly self balance - particularly if you use them with economy in mind. So if it gets too hot, you turn them down a little, if it gets too cold you turn them up a little. You never turn them to the endstop because it is too hot or cold.
Having said that, if some rads are too cold, you open up their lockshield valves a little or close down the lock shields on the others.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
