it is ok to keep it spread out too, afterall the board offers you the chance to view 25 threads minimum on a page and some titles are catchy and fetching that makes searching a pleasure, also you'd glance at some really useful posts that would otherwise be missed on a 50-105 page thread, imo

an opinion that differs needn't be seen as a reproach, rather an opportunity for reviewing if need be

It is this frequenting on this topic that brought that change by the forum team, which is to let a thread have it's fair chance to replies and responses and have it moved or merged only when it's fallen off the page - it's a new one and a good one. It must be disappointing to return and see no sign of a thread that was started earnestly and no one should be made to feel unwelcome.

also some bgs are obliging and sweet, you can always put in a request for the thread to be left for more replies, may be

Would it be possible for threads that are moved to the Arms or the Discussion Boards to have something (in the post saying they have been moved) to indicate which board they were originally posted on?
