Car hire issue

I am having an issue with a Car Hire company and would appreciate some advice if possible.
I hired a car from the 8am Tuesday to 8am Saturday. I returned the car at 8PM on the Friday evening, left it outside the car hire and put the keys through the secure key drop box as advised by the rental advisor on the tuesday morning.
They have just charged me £25 for a late drop off and are saying I didn't drop it off until 11am on the saturday morning.
Since it is a saturday today, there is no one who can deal with this and they say they will contact me within 7 days.
In addition to this, the unexpected payment took me over my bankng limit and I have now incurred charges from them also. This has left me with no money for the rest of the week until I am paid next week and I don't think 7 days is acceptable.
I have a range of photos of the car parked outside the centre on the friday evening (including one of the dash specifying the time) which are taken on my phone, I can print these off and screen shot the date they were taken.
Quite frankly I am annoyed that they are taking a week to even look at this and have clearly committed fraud by charging me for something that didn't happen.
Has anyone got any advice for what I can do/who I can contact to take this further?

Write them a very stroppy letter and inform that you will be taking them to small claims court if you do not get a refund straight away.

Also tell them that you expect your bank charges refunded, and compensated for the problems they have caused.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
May be a genuine mistake, that could be the time they processed the return and the operator forgot to change the time because you used the drop off box.
Either way write them a firm letter asking for a very prompt refund.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
