Tax credits - disabled evement

Just thought I'd share a positive.

I get tax credits due to disability. I had been working 28.8 hours a week. After I was advised by a wonderful welfare rights worker of a 30 hour additional premium. I negotiated this change to 30 hours with my employer and then advised tax credits of change. I'm thrilled as my tax credits have increased by around £60 every 4 weeks and the change went through so quick it hit the next payment date. I am so chuffed.

All for 18 mins a day that I normally had worked anyway for time owing. Fantastic result just wish I'd had advice of increasing my hours to 30 a week months or years earlier. :j
