I've just received my free sample of Silver Spoon Light Sugar along with two lovely recipe books. I want to make the Caramel Shortbread and have managed to get in all the ingredients except ground rice. Recipe says 6oz plain flour and 2oz ground rice. Ooops! However, I only used enough to bind it and it seems to havegone down very well, I have never eaten it so had no idea on what it was to be like. However, my manager loved it, said it was not as sickly sweet as bought (although he did have a whinge about feeling ill after eating 2 pieces!) as the base had sort of semi absorbed the caramel mix. Whether my error was beneficial in the end, I can only hazard a guess.
