Connecting Karaoke machine to monitor

We have a karaoke machine that plays CD+G discs. Obviously this needs connecting to a screen to be able to read the lyrics. We have a spare computer monitor. The output from the karaoke is via 3 sockets (2xaudio, 1 video). Input into the monitor is the standard computer monitor socket. (Sorry I don't know the terms for these connections). Is it possible to use the monitor in conjunction with the karaocke machine? If it is, where can I get a lead?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You would need a Composite Video to VGA convertor to get the picture, and that still leaves you with the problem of the audio.
For what a decent Composite to VGA convertor is going to cost, you might as well go and buy a cheap (Tesco, ASDA, etc) LCD television.Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0 -
the other way is to use a laptop/pc. Put winamp + free cdg s/w on it. There are other free players too.
Also for PCs you did get screen splitters for multiple monitors for about £60 a while back. some of these only will display a certain portion of the screen - like lyric window0
